Last weekend I completed a 23 mile walk along the canal towpaths of West Yorkshire as part of a fundraising event organised by the Rotary Club of Mirfield and in aid of four local hospices.
Termed the Rotary Navigation Walk, I started at Sowerby Bridge and walked along the canal towpaths running through Elland, into Brighouse before changing canals at Cooper Bridge just outside Huddersfield and making my through the centre of Huddersfield west towards Oldham. My finishing point being Marsden.
All in all it took me just under 8 hours. Phew!
I kept my trusty Fuji XE-2 paired with a prime 35mm lens with me at all times to capture some of the views which can be seen in the gallery below.
